Special Needs

We are very aware of the special needs of both gifted children and those with varying degrees of learning difficulty. We have a very good monitoring system that enables us to identify quickly any child who may be experiencing some difficulties or may need an extra challenge in a subject. In 2008 we are introducing a Gifted and Talented register which will help us identify those children who may be fast-tracked to help them fulfil their potential.

We have Learning Support Assistants for those children and small groups that need extra help. We also have extension groups called Jaguars offered in English, mathematics, and French. We offer one-to-one tuition with qualified staff for those with additional learning needs.
