Parents

We are proud of the family atmosphere at our school and we welcome parents as a valuable part of that family.

Each class has its own parent representative who ensures that the lines of communication between school and home are kept open. Many parents also help with reading, school trips and swimming. If you would like to get involved please contact us!

The Social Committee is a wonderful group of parents who organise regular social events suitable for parents and families. They also raise money for the children each year. In 2007 £600 of school playground equipment were purchased. In 2008 the SC sponsored the new greenhouse at a cost of £750. We are all very grateful for their efforts. We report to parents on children’s progress in a formal report sent home termly, but we also hold regular planned and ad hoc parents’ meetings to maintain a continuous dialogue between home and school. Our door is always open to any parent with a query or concern. We work at maintaining good relationships with parents through trust and communication.
