Snow Day -Tuesday 3rd February 2009

'Fun in the snow' This was the day when The Langley manor School was the only school in the area that was open. The new Calrion call text and email system certainly helped keep all our parents and staff informed and helped to keep everyone safe.

Egg Race Wednesday 18th March 2009

Your challenge is to procude a firing mechanism that will launch a table tennis ball accurately towards target 'buckets' which will be placed at 4 and 5 meter distances from the firing line. Ready, get set, GO!

Spelling Bee Thursday 19th March 2009

Highlights from the first Bucks & Berks Spelling Bee. Well done Langley Manor - our Y3-6 team won with 28 points out of forty beating Marish by two points with Danesfield in third place with 24 points. Congratulations also to Robert and Nikhil in Y6 who won and came runner-up respectively in their Y6 round. What a nerve-wracking final tie-off!

Year 1- 3 at Carroty Wood - 5th-8th May 2009

Here are some of the highlights of Year 1-3's trip to Carroty Wood in Kent this year. This annual event is one of the highlight's of the year with children learning age-appropriate activities from low-ropes to go-karting and archery. All in a secure and tranquil woodland setting where the children learn about the environment and nature at first hand. The children love it!

Year 6 French Trip to Normandy - 6th - 10th July 2009

Some highlights of this year's fantastic trip to France. Every year, we take our Year 6 leavers to france for a week. The programme is superb with visits to see the D-Day Landing Beaches, the Bayeux Tapestry, Mont St. Michel and even a visit to an authentic French bakery to make our own 'pain chocolat'! Delicieux!

Upper Phase Sports Day - 15th July 2009

Highlights of this year's exciting UP Sports Day at the Thames Valley Athletics Track in Eton. Well done to all the children and especially to our wonderful Sports Captains this year - you were great!
