Year 6 French Trip

One of the highlights for our Year 6 pupils is the annual residential trip to Normandy. The group, led by the Principal and four other teachers, spend five days consolidating and extending the French they have learned during their time at the school. The trip really is about putting their learning into practice with visits to local attractions, shopping, competitions and sporting activities all taking place.

Visits will include the following:

  • The Bayeux Tapestry
  • Mont St. Michel Abbey
  • The D-Day Landing Beaches
  • Caen Castle

This year, the group will travel to Bayeux by fast ferry and coach to a purpose-built centre which is professionally run and managed. ‘Bon voyage’ et ‘Bon Retour’ for all our Year 6 pupils on this exciting trip!

Year 6 enjoy an annual visit to France
