Test Results

Nationally recognised tests are administered annually and we are proud of our academic success.

Langley Manor children do consistently well in entrance examinations to senior schools, whether in the independent sector or in grammar school 11+ examinations. Our pass rate is well above average year on year.

Our 11+ pass rate in 2009 is nearly 75%. This compares with a pass rate in comparable non-selective local schools of around 25%.

In 2009 the Year 6 SAT results showed that our children achieved the following:

Literacy	100% Level 4 and above
Maths	94% Level 4 and above
Science	97% Level 4 and above

While Level 4 is the expected national expectation, our Y6 cohort achieved an impressive 76% Level 5 score this year in Literacy and 67% Level 5 score in Science which is above national expectations. Well done Y6!

Class sizes are on average 20 pupils or below. Learning Support Assistants are assigned to children or small groups where appropriate.

Children are always treated as individuals with their own needs being met as required. Termly prizegivings celebrate the children’s achievements in all areas of school life including social, creative and academic learning.
