Sports Matches

Sport and fitness is fun at the Langley Manor School. We see healthy competition as a great way of encouraging the children to get involved. It really is the taking part that matters. Each year we celebrate their success on the field at our annual Sports Day held at the Thames Valley Athletics Centre in Eton.

The children are involved in several fixtures, galas and tournaments both at home and away against other schools through the year. Cricket, athletics, football, netball and swimming all feature and we have a strong track record of success on the field.

In September 2007 we hosted the second annual CfBT Sports Festival at our school. The girls brought the netball trophy home and the boys won the football tournament. We hope to build our links with other CfBT schools by holding an athletics event in the summer term.
