Test Results

Nationally recognised tests are administered annually and we are
proud of our academic success.
The Langley Manor Prepartory School children do
consistently well in entrance examinations to senior schools,
whether in the independent sector or in grammar school 11+
examinations. Our pass rate is well above average year on year.
Throughout our history our 11+ pass rate is proven to be
70% on average. This compares with a pass rate in
comparable non-selective local schools of around 20%. The Langley
Manor School is a non selctive school catering for children of
mixed abilities. All children are given the opportunity to take the
exams although some parents chose for their child not to do so
opting for local independent and state schools of their
choice
In 2011 the Year 6 SATs results showed that our children
achieved the following:
|
Literacy
|
45% achieved Level 5 in comparison to
local 32% schools
|
|
Maths
|
64% achieved Level 5 in comparison
to local 35% schools
|
|
Science
|
71% achieved Level 5
|
While Level 4 is the national
expectation, 100% of our Year 6 children
achieved Level 4 or above in Literacy, 93%
achieved Level 4 or above in numeracy and 100%
achieved Level 4 or above in science. You will see from our results
that our children perform consistently higher. Well done
