Science

Science is taught throughout the school, following the Star Science Scheme of Work. We have a fully equipped science laboratory. The science programme is enriched by Science Week, visits by outside speakers and groups and special projects. Year 3 children worked with members of the Newbury Agriculture Society and other local schools this year on the Great Potato Challenge. The competition was fierce to see who could grow the greatest weight of potatoes whilst the children were learning about the science of growth and changing states.
