Art

Art plays an important part in the life of the school. The children’s enthusiasm for the subject is enhanced by visits to galleries and by the professional artists and craftsmen invited into school to lead workshops and demonstrations. During this year children in Year 6 have worked in collaboration with members of the art and MFL departments of Langley Grammar School to produce a work of art based on our school using the Pointillism technique following a study of the work of Seurat.
